Grahames 90

Grahame was actually given this 90 for free. It did however need a serious re-build. After half the chassis was welded, new doors, engine rebuild, new hard top and much more, this 90 is seriously reliable and has a go-anywhere attitude. A re-spray is planned as well as v8 conversion.

The most famous moment of this Landrover was at the 2000 LRW show at West Wycombe. Grahame (with myself in the passenger seat and his lad Adam in the back) manage to turn his Landrover over on the “non-damaging” course. Grahame blames a “loose” rear axle. Adam and I blamed his bad driving…. The Landrover actually got a mention in LRW the next month!

Andy’s Series 3

Andy’s series 2 sits along aside his works 90 (see below). With some 30 years age difference the series 2 is remarkable reliable. (A lot more so than mine!). Only one minor dent sustained at Langley Farm in Yorkshire after an argument with a tree this truck almost looks like a restored classic.

Andy’s 90

Andy spends all day long working in this 90. Not a bad vehicle to work in. With a Husky Winch and BFGoodridge MT 235/85/R16 tyres this truck will go anywhere.

Durlets Rangerover

A BEAST! This is one seriously modified Rangerover. With a three inch lift, 35x12.50xR15 tyres this monster sits high up! A 2.5 Tdi engine powers this along. Southdown sidesills, Warn winch bumber and an entire under body protection kit means damage is not an option (well nearly). Lastly he has over 200kg of recovery gear. Well it is a Rangie I suppose….

Gerrys Series 3

Quite a standard Series 2 but Gerry is building a Rangerover and Series 2 hybrid in my Technical section. This 2.25 petrol engine has a 2.6 ltr Capri carburettor on which makes stopping this monster a NIGHTMARE!!

Timmsys Series 3

This Series 3 has a host of accessories fitted. A steering guard, snorkel, engine skimmed by 6mm and most bizarrely a seriously loud music system with a bass tube that nearly make the Landy bounce! A great Series 3 that has certainly seen some off road action!
