My Series 3 Landrover

Bought off a friend in my village (thanks Mervin!), this 1979 Series 3 hardtop had been sat in an orchard for nearly two years. £750, a short trailer journey and a lot of help from Grahame it was now ready to be restored.

New fuel tank, complete brake system, rear suspension, battery, wheels and tyres, outriggers and several large patches on the chassis welded on, it was MOT`d and passed.

Then to and now

Since then it has undergone huge changes. It is now Truck cab and has a whole host of off road accessories fitted.

However the Series 3 is soon to have MAJOR changes! A Rangerover chassis has been bought and an SD1 V8. Both to be fitted under the Series 3 body to produce an awesome off roading Hybrid. Check out the technical section for details.
